Apply to Hanover OTD
Early Admit Program
Early Admit at Hanover College in the Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program is an admissions pathway that allows Hanoverians who earn an undergraduate degree from Hanover College and who meet minimum criteria to be offered priority admissions into a future designated OTD class. Both students working toward their baccalaureate and alumni who have graduated from Hanover College with a baccalaureate are eligible for Hanover’s OTD early admit pathway.
The Early Admit Opportunity
- Early admit as a pathway allows for early-action admissions. Students who are planning to attend graduate school and want to begin immediately following an undergraduate degree, may apply and be informed of acceptance into the Hanover OTD graduate program well in advance of all other general applicants. A preferred cohort entry date may be designated by each applicant. The early admit pathway offers up to 30 seats per academic year.
- This is a great opportunity for both high school and undergraduate students, who know they want to study occupational therapy and be guaranteed an opportunity for graduate school. By setting future educational goals, financial planning for graduate studies may be initiated early.
- An OTD advisement journey may begin as an undergraduate. The student who has declared interest in OTD may reach out to OTD admissions for advisement on prerequisite course selection during the undergraduate experience. Both an OTD advisor and OTD program designee will be assigned to check in occasionally and offer advisement.
- The OTD early admit student bypasses many traditional requirements of graduate school admissions. Having a graduate program entry guarantee, the OTD early admit student would save costs by not having to apply to and interview with multiple graduate school programs. Already matriculated at Hanover College, the early admit student would not be required to pay the Hanover College enrollment fee.
