Hanover College Scholarships

Hanover College Scholarships for OTD Students

We are excited to share that starting in Spring 2026, new scholarships will be available to help reduce tuition costs for incoming OTD students (Class of 2027).

These scholarships apply to:

  • Students who have already submitted a seat deposit
  • Students currently in the admissions process
  • Students who previously applied but withdrew after submitting a seat deposit

Merit Scholarships

  • Students with an unweighted college GPA of 3.75 or higher are eligible for a $10,000 scholarship toward the total cost of the program.
  • Students with an unweighted college GPA of 3.5-3.74 are eligible for a $5,000 scholarship toward the total cost of the program.

OTA Scholarship

  • Students who are licensed OTAs are eligible for a $2,500 scholarship toward the total cost of the program.

Hanover Alumni Scholarship

  • Students who are graduates of Hanover College are eligible for a $5,000 scholarship toward the cost of the program.

American Occupational Therapy Foundation

Over 50 scholarships are available from the American Occupational Therapy Foundation and state occupational therapy associations. Complete only one online form to apply for all qualifying scholarships.

AOTA E.K. Wise Scholarship

Three $2,500 awards granted annually for students from diverse backgrounds pursuing an entry-level occupational therapy (OT) or occupational therapy assistant (OTA) degree

AMBUCS Scholarship

Yearly awards from $600 to $1,500; one two-year award of $6,000 for students pursuing degrees in occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language pathology and audiology

Advanced Travel Therapy Scholarship

$5,000 scholarship offered twice a year for current occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, physical therapy and school psychology graduate students

American Association on Health and Disability

A scholarship opportunity for students with a disability pursuing graduate studies.

“Be Bold” No-Essay Scholarship

$25,000 scholarship. This no-essay scholarship is awarded to the applicant with the boldest profile. To us, boldest does not mean “best” or “most accomplished.” This award is for fighters, risk-takers, earnest overachievers who won’t take no for an answer.

Becky Burrows Memorial Scholarship

Provides scholarships in varying amounts, but not exceeding $1,000 to students reentering the job market, beginning a second career, or seeking to improve professional skills for their current occupation by continuing education in that field. Applicants are due by mid-March.

Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR)  Healthcare Scholarships

Annual scholarships of either $2,000 and $5,000. For students with financial need attending or planning to attend OT school

Education Matters Scholarship

Asks students to explain why education matters. What is the value you hope to receive from college? What would you do to convince the college cynics?

F.A. Davis Scholarship

F.A. Davis is dedicated to developing teaching and learning solutions that meet the needs of nursing and health science students, educators, and practitioners. To stay committed to our goal of shaping the future of nursing and health science education, F.A. Davis is proud to offer annual scholarships to support those aspiring to work in healthcare.

Folds of Honor

Offers scholarship opportunities to dependents and/or spouses of fallen or disabled US services members and first responders.

Gen and Kelly Tanabe Scholarship

This opportunity awards a merit-based scholarship for high school, college, and adult students.

Good Samaritan Foundation

Awards an average of $30,000 annually through eight scholarship funds
For graduating seniors, undergraduate or graduate students, medical students and Good Samaritan employees as they work to attain their educational goals. Applicants should be pursuing degrees in healthcare.

HIE Help Center Scholarship

Annual scholarship of $1,000 for an undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in occupational therapy (or physical therapy/speech therapy)

Lamber-Goodnow Injury Law Team PT/OT Scholarship

Offering a scholarship of $1,000 to an applicant who has applied for enrollment in an OT program or who is currently enrolled in an OT program. Applications are due December 1 each year.

Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans

Offering scholarships for immigrants and children of immigrants who are pursuing graduate education.

Truman Scholarship

$30,000; 55-65 scholarships are awarded annually for graduate students who have an extensive record of community/public service and a commitment to a career in the nonprofit and advocacy sectors after graduating. Highly competitive.
